Treatments for cancer that are now routine and may be considered "conventional" involve  very costly and physically invasive procedures that exceed the capabilities of many of those affilcted, which makes the disease for those patients practically terminal irregardless of its stage.

Three of these dreaded procedures are chemotherapy, surgery for the removal of a cancerous body part (including some adjacent healthy tissues), as well as radiotherapy that uses radiation from some nuclear process to burn targetted diseased sections.

Fortunately, continuous research and development have now found a number of alternative types of "nonconventional" effective treatments  that are much simpler and often very much cheaper.

Cancer common types

Immunotherapy

Among the more promising of these nonconventional treatmnents are those that may be classed under the general term "immunotherapy".

Immunotherapy may result to miraculous cures by utilizing the immune system of the body, that is, by strengthening/mobilizing certain cells or antibodies in the patient's own body to combat cancerous cells and reverse the progress of the disease.

Some immunotherapy treatments may require the expertise of professional medical practitioners while others could be effective just by use of commonly available knowledge coupled with simple common sense.

.

(Certain medical procedures for strengthening the immune system may be used, otherwise just following some kind of dietary regimen could also have beneficial effects.)

A very important part of immunotherapy, the strengthening of antibodies, may be done either outside or inside the patient's own body, so immunotherapy may further be subclassified as either "external immunotherapy" or  "internal immunotherapy".

External immunotherapy

Among the more promising and attractive perhaps is what is called "CLS Immunotherapy" described in an issue of "The Philippine Star" (a Philippine newspaper; April 24, 2014; page 2).

Its methodology essentially involves the use of immune cells taken from the patient's own blood that are multipled to some needed number by culturing for 8 to 10 days then infused back to the patient's body to destroy some specific cancer cells.

The procedures are painless without need for surgery  and have no reported side effects if any.It is  applicable to cases like lung cancer, gastric cancer, liver cancer, rectal cancer, breast cancer, and many others including lymphoma and even leukemia.

"CLS Immunotherapy" for the treatment of cancer is used at "Modern Cancer Hospital" in Guangzhou, China (the website www.asiancancer.com given at the news item have other info).

Internal immunotherapy

As in external immunotherapy, similar cancer curing benfits may result if the right nutrients are provided to certain immune cells (or antiboddies), though now the nutrients are introduced inside the patien's body for direct use by its cells (not by cells outside the body).

Nutrients for immune cells may be introduced inside the body either by transfusion (injection) or more  conveniently and simply through diet ("dietary immunotherapy", or the consumption of certain kinds of foods and drinks).

As cancer cure, the latter kind of internal immunotherapy (dietary immunotherapy) however have largely been ignored by medical organizations as well as individuals trained in common medical knowledge and methodology. The efforts and finances of the said entities tend to be spent on research/application for other types of cancer cure (both conventional and nonconventional).

Considering also other kinds of immunotherapy, most medical entities may prefer "external immunotherapy" kinds over the "dietary immunotherapy" because of better control and monitoring options for "external immunotherapy" methods.

Dietary cancer cure

The efficacy of "dietary immunotherapy' may only have been researched by various disparate individuals (proffessional or otherwise but with little crossreferencing to others for resources and means as possibly done by  organizational entities), often by individuals whose lives are threatened by advanced stagesof cancer.

Numerous individuals have at least published writings/documentations in offline or online publications about cancer cure achieved when some diet regimen is followed. It seems probable that some antibodies benefited from the diet to successfully destroy cancer cells, although another possibility is that the diet somehow is destructive to cancer or at least weakens those cells.

This special diet may be classed under the term ":Dietary cancer cure". A few exemplary works on this kind of cancer cure are listed below...

More on  imunotherapy

The dietary as well as any kind of immunotherapy as cancer cure is much more preferable to conventional treatments like chemotherapy that has an effect of reducing  the immune system's effectivity during the course of treatment. Chemotherapy may take several months and some precautions may have to be taken during that time so that some other serious diseases do not catch up also on the patient.

The keywords "Cancer Immunotherapy" may be searched on the internet for more immunotherapy info, among the interesting ones having this addrfess:

Radiotherapy

Only after a couple of years or so of a radiotherapy treatment may some undesirable damage to certain organs showup, sometimes to organs with no relation to the original cancer problem, that could require more treatments and maintenance (sometimes for the patient's lifetime).

If available and affordable for the patient, the latest types of technology should be taken for better long term results (currently in the Philippines two types are available, and the latest is referred to as a "linear accelerator" type which has a better and more accurate method of targetting radiaion to cancerous cells than the older type referred to as "cobalt").

Surgery in the digestive system

Surgery must be a most distasteful part of conventional cancer treatments because of possible results that could drastically change social life.

Among those, very unwanted are certain modifications for  the  digestive system like the installation of arrangement for external storage bag (also called colostomy bag) somewhere on the belly's surface to hold the body's digestive wastes (feces) in lieu of intestinal storage. The arrangement may be used as part of the treatments for rectal cancer (may be diagnosed at or near the rectum which is located at the end of the large intestine or colon).

Colostomy bag arrangements may be tapped to the small intestine for the latter's waste output just before the large intestine by surgery through what is called "elliostomy".In a kind of tapping sometimes called "double barrel", the intestine is severed and both of the resulting 2 gut openings are fixed outside the belly skin to be enclosed by the arrangement..

In one arrangement set, a sort of disposable wafer base with hole in the middle is attached by adhesive to the belly over the intestine opening. A detachable colostomy bag is then clipped on the base for the oututted waste and may be emptied as needed.

.

.
Careful use and maintenance for a set of arrangement must be done always to avoid leakages of stuffs at embarassing inappropriate times and to make the costly set last.

As precaution colostomy bags may only have recommended contents of around half full, more or less. This means disposal of contents should be done very frequently, as often as say after every meals.

Just before the big intestine, small intestine content may contain more liquid content per unit volume than at other locations farther down. More often than not, waste outputted to colostomy bags in this kind of tap ("ileostomy") may actually be mostly liquid.

Colostomy bag arrangements have more tendency to leak somewhere if contents have much liquid, more often when the wearer is in the prone position. To compensate, the wearer may change his normal sleeping position or habits.

Arrangements with "double barrel' connections may only be temporary and both gut openings may be reconnected to each other if the related cancer is believed to be completely cured. Otherwise, it may be permanent for the patient's lifetime if ""single barrel" connection is used.

Colorectal checkup

A gastroentrologist should be consulted if suspicious irregularity is felt or detected in the bowels. Some abnormalities may be seen that could lead to serious diseases, like polyp growth that could in time cause "colorectal cancer"  (cancer of the colon or else of the rectum) if not removed early.

Polyp if still small may be cauterized (burned off) using instrument inserted through the anus, otherwise (if polyp is already sizable), this growth including maybe a considerable length of intestine may require removal through a major surgical operation.

Polyp that requires surgical removal could already be in a cancerous stage
